Registered Practical Nurse - GAU-B

You will provide client-centred psychiatric and general nursing care and ensure the security, the safety and the CNO standards of nursing practice are maintained. As a casual Registered Practical Nurse, you will collaborate with the primary nurse to perform assessments, develop, implement and evaluate the interdisciplinary plan of client care for clients with mental health and addiction issues. You will provide client-centred psychiatric and general nursing care to older individuals within an inter-professional team. Responsibilities include performing assessments, developing care plans, and managing disturbed behavior in a clinical setting.

Candidates must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and possess a current B.C.L.S. (CPR) certification. Medication administration certification and experience with mental health or addiction issues are required.
