*Requirements* * Certification from a recognized Pharmacy Assistant program * Minimum *1 year of pharmacy experience* (required) * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Working knowledge of *Kroll* software is an asset * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail *Key Responsibilities* Duties include, but are not limited to: * Greet patients and healthcare providers in person and by phone; answer questions and direct inquiries to the pharmacist when appropriate * Prepare and dispense medications and pharmaceutical products in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy standards * Manage pharmacy inventory by checking stock levels, placing and expediting orders, and removing expired or outdated medications * Resolve issues as they arise, including rejected or problematic insurance claims * Maintain a safe, clean, and organized pharmacy environment in compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations * Complete administrative and record-keeping tasks as assigned Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Vision care Experience: * Pharmacy: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person
