Our goal is to provide our patients with all their pharmacy needs including in-house Compounding, Compliance Pill Packaging, Home Health Care and Medical Supplies. Our company culture is one that promotes a positive work environment and work-life balance. This pharmacy is open 9 ? 6 during the week, 9-5 on Saturday, and 10-4 on Sundays. *Job Description* We are looking for a part-time or full-time pharmacy technician to join our team. We offer a positive team environment and being located in a smaller community allows you to easily collaborate with physicians in the area. This allows our pharmacy teams to provide our patients with exceptional care. Registered pharmacy technicians are responsible for: * Prescription processing * Troubleshooting insurance issues * Performing final technical checks on prescriptions, including blister packs * Counselling patients on a variety of health devices * Customer service * Freeing up the pharmacist to perform clinical responsibilities The successful candidate will have: * An active Canadian pharmacy technician license. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. * Exceptional customer service skills. * Good organizational skills and the ability to multi task. * Problem solving skills. *Compensation is negotiable based on experience level of the successful candidate.
