Job Description G&G Eye Doctors is looking for a caring, professional, and patient-focused Optometrist to join our clinic. We are a modern, growing, full-scope optometry and optical clinic with a welcoming team, updated diagnostic technology, and a strong focus on providing high-quality eye care in a comfortable and patient-centered environment. Our clinic provides comprehensive primary eye care with the opportunity to manage a variety of ocular health, contact lens, and specialty care needs. We are equipped with technology to support thorough patient care, including auto-refractor/keratometry, lensometer, OCT, anterior segment imaging, visual field testing, retinal imaging, and contact lens fitting tools. The ideal candidate is friendly, thorough, reliable, and comfortable providing comprehensive eye exams while managing a variety of primary and specialty eye care needs. Responsibilities * Perform comprehensive eye examinations * Diagnose and manage ocular health conditions within scope of practice * Provide contact lens assessments and fittings, including soft and hard/RGP contact lenses * Participate in myopia control care, including patient education and appropriate treatment recommendations * Educate patients on their eye health, treatment options, and eyewear needs * Interpret and utilize diagnostic testing, including OCT, visual field testing, retinal imaging, and anterior segment imaging * Refer patients for further care when appropriate * Maintain accurate patient records * Work collaboratively with our optical and administrative team Qualifications * Doctor of Optometry degree * Licensed and in good standing with the College of Optometrists of Ontario * Professional liability insurance * Strong communication and patient care skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Experience with OCT, visual field testing, retinal imaging, contact lenses, hard/RGP lens fittings, and myopia control is an asset * New graduates are welcome to apply Schedule Flexible hours available. Specific days and hours can be discussed based on clinic needs and the candidate?s availability. Evening availability is considered an asset, and there may be an opportunity for additional days or ongoing growth within the clinic.
