Title: Public Health Nurse Department: Health Community: Pangnirtung, Pond Inlet Requisition Number: 708 Type of Employment: Indeterminate Salary range: $117,669 to $133,533 per year, 37.5 hours/week Northern Allowance: $24,535 - $29,149 per year Housing: Subsidized Staff Housing is Available Union Status: Nunavut Employees Union Closing date: Open until filled This employment opportunity is open to all applicants The Public Health Nurse (PHN) provides a full continuum of public health services to individuals in the community in accordance with the public health program standards set by the Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH). The position exists to protect, restore and promote health and reduce the incidence of disease and disability through health promotion, health protection and disease/injury prevention activities. Exigences

Requires a Bachelor Degree of Nursing or a Diploma in Nursing with a Public Health Certificate and at least two years of experience. Candidates must be eligible for registration with RNANTNU and pass a criminal record and vulnerable sector check.
