Preferences will be given to existing Yukon Government Health Care Assistants auxiliary-on-call employees. The Health Care Assistant works under the clinical direction of registered staff to provide person-centered care to clients and residents. They promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being while contributing to a safe and inclusive environment.

Candidates must have a recognized certificate as a Health Care Aide, Personal Support Worker, Continuing Care Assistant, or Personal Care Aide. Recent experience in charting and documenting progress notes is also required.
