Position #: 191677 Expected Start Date: September 29, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: New Hope Pioneer Lodge City/Town: Stoughton Department: Home Nursing Type: Casual FTE: 0 Shift Information: Days Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Home Care Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse A $38.580 to $50.070 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RN/RPN) is accountable for promoting high quality care through assessing, planning, implementing, documenting and evaluating the total care needs of our patients/residents/clients (P/R/Cs). The RN/RPN is required to coordinate with all the departments within the facility, families and professionals associated with P/R/Cs care. The RN/RPN must promote effective communication in the facility through care given and reporting mechanisms. The RN/RPN is expected to participate in staff meetings and educational opportunities to maintain their own professional competence. Human Resources Exemption: No Education * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Licenses * Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) Other Education and Training * Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable * Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable * Nursing diploma is acceptable Competencies * Intermediate - Interpersonal skills Knowledge and Abilities * Ability to make decisions on patient care and coordination of equipment * Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team * Ability to keep effective work relationships with clients of diverse backgrounds * Ability to competently use computers and software applications * Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
