The position will report to and work under the direction of a manager in one of the designated program areas. Practicing within Saskatchewan Health Authority policies, CRNS standards, and legislated NP scope, the NP assesses, diagnoses, treats, prescribes, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, performs authorized procedures, and evaluates care for clients with common acute illnesses, stable chronic conditions, urgent and emergent needs, and health promotion priorities as the most responsible provider (MRP). The NP works collaboratively with clients, families, physicians, multi-disciplinary teams, community partners, and managers to support safe, person-centred, culturally responsive, and coordinated care. The Nurse Practitioner provides autonomous, evidence-informed care across various healthcare settings, including acute, urgent, and primary care. They act as the most responsible provider to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patient health needs while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in nursing and have at least 3 years of RN experience in relevant clinical settings. Additionally, they must possess valid professional certifications including PALS, BCLS, CTAS, and ACLS, along with a valid driver's license.
