Position #: 9012021 Expected Start Date: October 05, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Sunrise Health & Wellness Centre City/Town: Yorkton Department: Chronic Disease Management Collaborative Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.27 Shift Information: Days, Evenings Number of Hours per Rotation: 4 shifts of 7.5 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Dietitian - Degree $36.171 to $44.23 Travel Required: No Job Description: Reporting to the manager, the dietitian - degree provides medical nutrition therapy which includes screening, assessment, developing and implementing evidence-based care plans, counselling, direction on nutrition support, and other needed nutrition interventions for patients/residents/clients. This position will work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary health care team to create a patient/resident/client and family centered environment conducive to the provision of quality care Human Resources Exemption: No Experience * Previous experience in a clinical nutrition setting is an asset Education * Completion of an approved Dietetic Practicum Program * Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr)) Licenses * Valid Class 5 driver's license Competencies * Computer skills * Organizational skills * Time management skills * Interpersonal skills * Communication skills Knowledge and Abilities * Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team * Self motivated with the ability to work independently * Ability to concentrate within a dynamic work environment * Ability to assess/develop/implement/evaluate a comprehensive nutrition care plan * Knowledge of quality improvement initiatives * Knowledge in clinical nutrition * Ability to establish effective treatment relationships with clients Other Information * Registered/eligible for registration with the Dietitians of Canada (DC) * Registered/eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Dietitians * Scheduled hours of work may be reduced when a statutory holiday is recognized The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, employing more than 45,000 staff in a dynamic healthcare environment. Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and have completed an approved Dietetic Practicum Program. Registration or eligibility for registration with the Dietitians of Canada and the Saskatchewan College of Dietitians is required.
