*Pharmacy Manager (Full-Time, Permanent) ? Brantford, ON* *Location:* Brantford, Ontario (An easy, quick 25-minute drive from Hamilton!) *Status:* Full-Time, Permanent *Compensation:* Salaried (Based on 40 hours/week, equivalent to $55.00 - $62.00/hour) *Schedule:* Flexible (Manage your own schedule; pharmacy operating hours listed below) *Discover Brantford: A Great Place to Live and Work* Nestled along the picturesque Grand River, Brantford offers the perfect blend of small-town charm and big-city amenities. Known as the "Telephone City," it boasts a rich history, vibrant arts, and miles of beautiful trails. With an incredibly affordable cost of living compared to the GTA and tight-knit community safety, it?s a fantastic place to settle down. *Best of all for commuters, the pharmacy is a quick, easy 25-minute drive from Hamilton*, giving you the perfect balance of a peaceful workplace with easy access to the city. *About the Opportunity* We are seeking a dedicated, community-minded *Designated Pharmacy Manager* to lead our team. This pharmacy is uniquely *attached directly to a medical clinic*, allowing for seamless collaboration with healthcare providers. If you are looking for a management role without the chaotic rush of a traditional retail pharmacy, this is it. While our volume is approximately 1,500 prescriptions per week, the vast majority are methadone/suboxone prescriptions. *The workflow is incredibly streamlined and low-stress:* the methadone is prepared utilizing an automated measuring device that dispenses automatically. The entire process is quick, clean, and remarkably easy, allowing the workload to be comfortably handled by a single pharmacist without needing pharmacist overlap. *Why Join Us?* * *Unparalleled Autonomy:* As the Pharmacy Manager, you set your own schedule. You can easily utilize CATC colleagues or contract relief pharmacists to cover the remaining operating hours on your days off. * *Robust Assistant Support:* You are never alone. The site is open 65 hours a week, and we provide ~100 hours of Pharmacy Assistant (PA) coverage per week. There is _always_ a PA on site with you, and we double up to two PAs during busier times when the clinic is open and the MDs are actively seeing patients. * *Modern Workflow:* No tedious manual pouring. Automated dispensing devices make the specialized daily workflow fast and efficient. * *Competitive Compensation:* A stable, salaried position based on a 40-hour work week ($55?$62/hour equivalent). * *Sign-On Bonus Potential:* While signing bonuses are typically rare in Southern Ontario, we are prepared to seek senior management approval for a sign-on incentive for the right candidate. *Pharmacy Operating Hours* * *Monday:* 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM * *Tuesday & Wednesday:* 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM * *Thursday:* 7:00 AM ? 6:30 PM * *Friday:* 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM * *Saturday:* 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM * *Sunday:* 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM *Key Responsibilities* * Act as the Designated Manager with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP), ensuring full compliance with all regulatory standards. * Oversee the safe and efficient automated dispensing of medications, focusing on opioid agonist therapy (OAT) patient care. * Lead, mentor, and schedule a dedicated team of Pharmacy Assistants. * Maintain excellent, collaborative relationships with the physicians and clinic staff right next door. * Manage inventory, pharmacy operations, and record-keeping meticulousness. *Qualifications* * Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. * Licensed and in good standing as a Registered Pharmacist with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (Part A). * Experience or familiarity with methadone/suboxone dispensing and OAT guidelines is highly preferred (though our automated systems make training highly accessible). * Exceptional communication, empathy, and organizational skills. *Apply Today* If you are a pharmacist looking for a rewarding management role with excellent sup
