Employment Status: Temporary Full-TimeDuration (if contract): October 1 2026 Reporting Relationship: Manager, Medical Day Care Hourly Rate: $41.15 - $58.98 Union Group: ONA Hours of work: Must be available for 8 hour day shifts (subject to change) Location: Humber River Health, Wilson site Responsibilities: Registered Nurse duties in the Medical Day Care – Thrombosis Clinic Qualifications: Current Ontario College of Nurses Registration and BCLS Minimum two years recent and related experience in Medical Clinics Ability to be flexible and effectively work in a busy environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines. Must also possess excellent organizational skills Able to work in a fast pacing clinical area high caliber of observational skills and an ability to react quickly and appropriately to crises situations demonstrated good patient assessment skills demonstrated excellent patient/family teaching skills` evidence of sound judgment and initiative demonstrated good problem solving skills and an ability to work well independently with minimal supervision ability to work effectively in a team environment Good interpersonal and communication skills required with an ability to work effectively with a variety of patients, families, Physicians and staff from various cultures and economic backgrounds A positive attendance record Knowledge of a second language an asset. An understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles as they relate to health practices is an asset. Exigences
Candidates must hold current Ontario College of Nurses registration and BCLS certification. A minimum of two years of recent, related experience in medical clinics is required.
