Residential Home Lead

JOB OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking multiple dedicated Residential Home Leads to oversee the daily operations of our residential homes supporting individuals with behavioral challenges and trauma-related needs. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a safe, structured, and caring home environment while providing strong leadership to staff. You will play a key role in supporting residents’ personal growth, independence, and overall well-being through consistent guidance, collaboration, and compassionate care.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

• Lead, supervise, and support residential staff (scheduling, coaching, training)

• Foster a trauma informed, person-centered environment

• Support residents’ daily routines, skill development, and independence

• Oversee medical coordination and individualized support plans

• Respond to crises using appropriate intervention strategies

• Ensure compliance with policies, documentation, and safety standards

• Maintain positive relationships with families and external partners

• Oversee household operations and team meetings

• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education in Social Work, Psychology, Child and Youth Care, or related field

• Experience in residential or similar care settings

• Leadership experience preferred

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and crisis management skills

• Valid First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)

• Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check
