Are you interested in sharing your clinical nursing experience with others on your team? In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Clinical Nurse Educator practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), as well as within a person and family centered care model. The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) is responsible for identifying, planning, compiling and delivering training sessions for staff to assist them in meeting their key competencies in compliance with scope. Compiles, implements and evaluates general and unit specific Orientation and Education programs for the staff. Facilitates the development and ongoing maintenance of the department’s preceptorship/mentorship programs. Participates in the on-going review and revision of patient care standards, policies and procedures and coordinates the in-service programs aimed at meeting the continuing educational needs of staff. Can work from any NH site that provides Cancer Care. Must have 3+ years of relevant and recent Oncology nursing experience. Must be willing to travel Must provide up to date resume. Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days, 08:30 to 16:30

Exigences

Candidates must have at least 3 years of recent and relevant oncology nursing experience. The role requires a willingness to travel and adherence to BC College of Nurses and Midwives standards.
