Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide essential support and care to individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, and home care settings. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities by offering personalized assistance with daily activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to caregiving, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in clients' lives. Prior experience in senior care, dementia care, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Administer medications following prescribed guidelines and safety protocols
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a caring environment
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
• Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
• Assist with activities that promote mental stimulation and social engagement
• Follow care plans meticulously and document care provided accurately

Skills

• Experience in assisted living or nursing home environments preferred
• Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities
• Ability to administer medications safely and accurately
• Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and compassion
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams
• Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation efficiently
• Flexibility to adapt to changing care needs and schedules
• Valid certification or training in caregiving is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
