This role is part of the Integrated Domestic Violence Response Team (IDVRT), a collaborative partnership between enCompass Community Safety Agency and YWCA Edmonton. This is a four (4) day per week position. Position Description: The Integrated Domestic Violence Response Team (IDVRT) Social Worker plays a vital role in supporting individuals at high risk of severe violence or homicide in intimate partner violence cases. Working in partnership with YWCA Edmonton, enCompass Community Safety Agency, and Edmonton Police Service, this position delivers crisis intervention, comprehensive risk assessment, and intensive case management focused on safety planning, stabilization, and coordinated system navigation. The Social Worker helps close critical service gaps by advocating for victims’ needs, strengthening cross‑agency collaboration, and ensuring clients receive timely, trauma‑informed, wraparound support that enhances long‑term safety.
