Scope and Responsibilities

• Ensure client safety is maintained at all times
• Assist clients with overall daily hygiene including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
• Support clients with ambulation, transfers, and mobility through mobility aids such as wheelchairs to avoid fall and injury
• Assist clients with their meals by aiding with eating, ensuring proper nutrition, and ensuring dietary requirements are being met as well as monitoring dietary restrictions
• Provide emotional support and companionship to the clients

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified Personal Support Worker (PSW) with a PSW certificate from accredited educational institutions
• Has a valid First Aid and CPR certificate, Police Clearance - VSS, updated immunizations, and at least 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccines
• Eligible to work in Ontario
