Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide expert acupuncture treatments to promote patient wellness, manage pain, and support overall health. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on holistic patient care, utilizing traditional Chinese medicine techniques. Prior hospital experience and a strong foundation in patient care are highly valued, along with familiarity with medical terminology.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine appropriate acupuncture treatment plans
• Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Monitor patient responses during sessions and adjust techniques as needed
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and lifestyle modifications to enhance health outcomes
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop integrated treatment approaches
• Stay current with advancements in acupuncture practices and related medical knowledge

Requirements

• Valid certification or license to practice acupuncture in the province
• Prior experience working in hospital or clinical settings preferred
• Strong skills in patient care, including excellent communication and empathetic listening
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to holistic health practices
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Commitment to maintaining sterile procedures and adhering to safety standards
• Flexibility to accommodate patient scheduling needs, including evenings or weekends if required

Pay: $45.00-$90.00 per hour
