Occupational Therapist Location: Northern British Columbia (Multiple Acute Care Hospitals) Professional Summary Seeking qualified Occupational Therapists to deliver patient-centered rehabilitation services in acute care settings, supporting functional independence, safe discharge, and recovery outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct functional assessments & individualized care plans Support ADLs, mobility, and discharge planning Promote patient safety & independence Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Maintain accurate clinical documentation Educate patients on adaptive strategies & recovery Follow clinical, safety, and infection control standards Qualifications (BC Standards) ✔ Degree in Occupational Therapy (accredited program) ✔ Registered and in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC) ✔ Eligible to practice in British Columbia (no restrictions) ✔ Acute care/hospital experience preferred ✔ Strong knowledge of rehabilitation, ADLs, and patient-centered care ✔ Valid BLS/CPR certification (preferred/required by most facilities) ✔ Ability to work in fast-paced / rural settings ✔ Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and adaptability Position Details Pay: CAD $48–$60/hour Schedule: Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly Travel: Covered (travel + accommodation + time pay) Shift: As per facility needs Why Join Us Competitive pay + OT/Holiday benefits Acute care hospital experience Travel support provided Diverse clinical exposure across Northern BC Equal Opportunity Employer Russell Tobin is committed to an inclusive workplace.

Exigences
Requires a degree in Occupational Therapy and registration in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC. Preferred candidates have acute care hospital experience and valid BLS/CPR certification.
