They are responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and relationship building to contract negotiation and implementation.
ABOUT THE COMPANY Our client is a recognized leader of innovative equipment management services in Canada, helping hospitals and healthcare organizations improve how they manage medical equipment, service costs, operational risk, and long-term capital requirements. Develop persuasive financial and operational business cases for senior leadership teams and other decision-making groups. Expand existing relationships by identifying additional facilities, departments, equipment categories, and service requirements. Represent the organization at healthcare conferences, executive forums, association meetings, and industry events. Requirements THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Education & Training University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred. Work Experience & Accomplishments 7+ years of progressive healthcare sales or business development experience with hospitals, provincial health authorities, and integrated healthcare networks across Western and Northern Canada. Demonstrated history of creating new opportunities and generating revenue rather than relying primarily on established accounts. Experience selling medical device capital equipment, equipment service contracts, healthcare technology, managed services, or similarly complex solutions. Proven ability to manage long sales cycles involving the C-suite, clinical executives, finance, procurement, operations, biomedical engineering and departmental leaders. Skills & Competencies Genuine hunter mentality backed by disciplined prospecting habits, persistence, and measurable new business results.
