*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to support our pharmacy team in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong english communication skills with working knowledge of Telus Health Kroll workflow software, Pharmacare and third party plans. Previous experience with blister packing and compounding is an asset. We are looking for a pharmacy assistant with flexible availability. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate dispensing, maintaining pharmacy operations, and providing compassionate support to patients and healthcare professionals alike. *Responsibilities* * Assist licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. * Manage inventory levels, including stock replenishment and proper storage of pharmaceutical products. * Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, ringing up purchases and addressing concerns professionally. * Maintain precise records of medication transactions and ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations. * Support the administration of medications under supervision, adhering to established protocols. * Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy environment to promote safety and efficiency. * Collaborate with healthcare providers to verify prescriptions and clarify medication orders as needed. *Requirements* * Prior experience in a community pharmacy setting is highly desirable. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures. * Demonstrated ability to deliver compassionate patient care with excellent communication skills. * Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools. * Ability to work accurately under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. * Certification or training in pharmacy assistance or previous pharmacy experience is a must.
