Work Location: This will be an onsite role within Mississauga, ON, CA. The Position Scrum Master/ Project Manager The Opportunity As the Scrum Master, you will be a servant leader who empowers the Scrum Team to deliver high-quality products by facilitating collaboration, removing impediments, and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving innovation, optimizing processes, and delivering transformative solutions to support our mission of advancing healthcare through cutting-edge technology. Responsibilities: Facilitating the Scrum process, ensuring that all Scrum events are optimally organized and conducted. Mentoring the Development Team and the Product Owner on the principles and practices of Scrum, helping them understand their roles and responsibilities within the framework. Serving the Scrum Team by removing impediments to their progress, ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed, and protecting them from external distractions. Ensuring that the Scrum Team adheres to the values, principles, and practices of Scrum. Resolving conflicts within the team and facilitates constructive communication and collaboration among team members. Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement within the team and the organization. Acting as a liaison between the Scrum Team and stakeholders, ensuring that stakeholders understand the progress of the project and providing transparency into the development process. Who You Are Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related study. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments, with a deep understanding of Scrum principles, practices, and methodologies. Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to lead by example, empower team members, and encourage a culture of self-organization, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address complex impediments and issues hindering the team's progress. Conflict resolution and negotiation, with the ability to handle challenging situations and foster constructive dialogue among team members and stakeholders. Experience in effectively managing relationships with stakeholders at various levels of the organization. At least one Scrum Certification like scaled certification (SAFe 5, SCRUM Master), PSMI, AGILE PM Consultant (SPC), or other advanced Agile certifications is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including conveying complex ideas clearly and effectively, facilitating meetings, and influencing decision-making.
