The Village at St. Clair has an exciting opportunity for a Personal Support Worker to join their team. • Location: 1800 Talbot Rd, Windsor, ON N9H 0E3 • Position Type: unscheduled part time • Expected Start Date: August 27, 2026 The hiring rate for this role is $25.98 per collective agreement/employee association agreement. How Schlegel Villages supports our Team Members: * Competitive salary, and benefits; * Significant opportunities for Growth and Development * Ongoing Team Member Appreciation incentives and rewards and recognition * Extended Health Benefits & Retirement Savings * Individualized Assistance for Team Member Education and Development * Loans and Scholarships to help our team members realize their greatest potential * A Unique Family Culture As our new Personal Support Worker, you will: * Demonstrate awareness of resident-centered care topics (e.g., infection control, continence care, oral/skin care, resident safety, nutrition, dementia, etc.) * Be skilled and able to prioritize and properly complete tasks effectively without compromising the care and compassion provided to residents even when under stress * Follow the Plan of Care, observe and report any substantial changes in resident’s care, overall health, documents change into the system and communicate to the Neighborhood Coordinator or village Registered team member * Respect the rights and dignity of all residents, families, team members, and visitors to the Village and address any requests with professionalism and care * Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective support * Participate in a multi-disciplinary team approach * Participate and successfully complete medication administration training provided by the village (Only if posting for a MED ADMIN) To be successful as our new Personal Support Worker you will: * Provide a Diploma or certificate from an accredited Personal Support Worker (PSW) program (or provincial equivalent certificate program) At Schlegel Villages we are redefining elder care through innovation [https://the-ria.ca/about-ria/about-us/our-history/], Village design [http://schlegelvillages.com/about] and culture [http://schlegelvillages.com/culturechange] change, but we know the key to our Village success, and our residents’ satisfaction, is YOU and our teams.
