As a provider of services in many client locations, including hospitals, long term care facilities, and senior homes, we require that all new hires to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.Job DescriptionAs a Casual / Part-time Houskeeper on our team, you will:Collect all waste (soiled linen and garbage)Spot clean walls and windows including blindsClean center core rooms and alcovesChange bedside and/or shower curtains if soiledClean isolation and off-isolation roomsThoroughly clean washroomsClean all patient roomsVacuum (as required)Lock to remove Sharp and Bio Containers, place in Soiled HoldDisinfect all horizontal surfaces– paying special attention to “High Contacted Items”Remove all tape and tape residue from walls and doors Restock SuppliesDamp dust above shoulder levelDust and Wet mop floors’Any other related tasksQualificationsWhat You’ll Need to Succeed: A minimum of experience working with hospital housekeeping, facilities services, janitorial and custodial managing a teamHigh School diploma or some post-secondary educationUp to date vaccination recordClear Criminal Background check Must be able to work 8 hours consecutivelyMust be able to lift to 20 lbsAdditional InformationAbout Sodexo Sodexo is the global leader in services that improve Quality of Life, an essential factor in individual and organizational performance.
