Please let us know if you require extra assistance** We are looking for awesome, self-driven nurse (RPN or RN) to work in Whitby, ON (Client #1) and Ajax, ON (Client #2). We have two lovely clients who are looking for services in these areas. Shift Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays 10am-6pm - DAYS Alternating Fridays 9pm-7am and ongoing Saturdays 9pm-7am - NIGHTS Clinical Skill Set Experience with trach and vent clients an asset; willing to train Experience with cough assist, respiratory monitoring, g-tube care. Duties and Responsibilities Provide personal care to clients as outlined in their care plans. Adhere to providing personal care and help clients with their ADLs that is within the scope of practice for a nurse Assists clients in all activities of daily living/ hygiene assistance, bathing, grooming, linen changes and so forth. Assists clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises. Meets the safety needs of the client and uses equipment safely and properly. Functions within the limits of own experience and knowledge, and practices safely and competently within the job description. Completes records and documents accurately and thoroughly. An asset if you own vehicle and have a valid driver's licence (not required) Negative TB Test completed within the last year CNO Registration and nursing Certificate COVID Vaccination Receipts subject to an exemption pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code Valid Criminal Record Check - must be completed within the last year. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Coordinators when needed. Provide comprehensive personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for pediatric clients in their homes. Monitor respiratory status and manage specialized equipment including tracheostomies and ventilators.

Must be a registered nurse (RN or RPN) with CNO registration and a valid nursing certificate. Requires a clean criminal record check, negative TB test, and COVID-19 vaccination receipts.
