Seeking a joyful individual to join our glowing team. *Key Responsibilities:* * *Front Desk Duties:* Greet patients warmly and professionally, answer phone calls, and schedule appointments. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently, verifying insurance information and collecting co-payments as needed. * *Patient Communication:* Communicate with patients regarding appointment reminders, follow-up care instructions, and test results in a courteous and compassionate manner. Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly, either in person, over the phone, or via email. * *Medical Records Management:* Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, including patient demographics, medical history, and treatment plans. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations in handling sensitive patient information. * *Office Organization:* Keep the reception area and office environment clean, organized, and welcoming. Order and maintain office supplies and equipment inventory to support efficient operations. * *Team Collaboration:* Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and support interdisciplinary teamwork. Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions between administrative and clinical tasks. *Qualifications:* - Previous experience as a medical office assistant is preferred - Familiarity with medical software such as Healthquest - Strong administrative skills, including data entry and record keeping - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with patients and colleagues Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
