About The Role As a Personal Support Worker (PSW), you'll use your training to provide person-centred care, support daily living, and help clients stay comfortable and independent in their own homes. You'll travel between clients' homes throughout the day, making every visit matter. Bring your skills to where they're needed most! Working conditions and physical demands: This role requires a detail-oriented approach in a dynamic environment, with physical activity including lifting, carrying (using proper techniques), bending, reaching, kneeling, and other movements that emphasize good body mechanics. Individuals in the role are required to walk, sit, stand, and climb stairs throughout the day, with some tasks requiring fine hand movements.

Provide person-centred care and daily living support to clients in their own homes to promote independence. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, meal preparation, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Candidates must have a PSW or Developmental Services Worker certification, or be a nursing student/internationally educated nurse. A valid driver's license, personal vehicle, insurance, and a satisfactory criminal records check are required.
