August 27, 2026 GROVES MEMORIAL COMMUNITY HOSPITAL POSTING #2026-197 REGISTERED NURSE – EMERGENCY (REGULAR PART TIME) POSITION OVERVIEW: One (1) regular part time Registered Nurse position is available in the Emergency Department of Groves Memorial Community Hospital. This position is responsible for comprehensive nursing care as established by the standards of nursing practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario and according to policies and procedures as set out by GMCH. QUALIFICATIONS: Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) BScN is an asset. Must have current or recent clinical experience of at least two years in the Emergency, I.C.U. or step down units. (Preference will be given to candidates with current Emergency nursing experience.) Required triage experience, CTAS certification Current ACLS and PALS. TNCC, ETLS and/or ENPC, NRP or willingness to obtain Demonstrated ability to function effectively in emergency situations. Demonstrated clinical assessment and patient/family teaching skills. Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated skill and knowledge of I.V. Therapy and venipuncture is required. Delegated Controlled Acts certification to be successfully completed within six months of employment date and to be recertified annually. Demonstrated effective communication skills.
